Size doesn't matter ;-). This small Amsterdam based cheesecake bakery excells in passion and creativity. Owner/chef Spiros surprises his clients every week.. oh wait.. sometimes every day, with new flavors, new designs of his cakes. Classic, seasonal, special themes, made to specification... all is possible but it all comes down to only cheesecake (but you can have a good coffee/tea on the spot). Drop by and cancel your dinner date that night, cause you won't need anything else. Or better.. bring your date there ;-)

My husband found this place while reading an article in the May 2018 issue of “I amsterdam” magazine. Upon our arrival, the chef, Spiros Mariatos, greeted us and offered a free sample of his cheesecake. There’s a small selection, 5 or 6, and a specialty cake. There was even a gluten-free option, which was chocolate with a coconut (and date?) crust...absolutely divine. My husband enjoyed the salted caramel cheesecake. We requested a photo and autograph of the magazine article. Spiros was happy to oblige. He’s friendly and takes pride in his bakery. We loved this place.
I use to come here after a workout because it is very close, but hey ho this is both the best and the worst place after a workout :D Spiros is very welcoming, entertaining and will always remember you, I guarantee you this! The place is super cute and very cozy, particularly because he decorated it with creative hand-crafted or original items. His cakes are the bomb! I like it that he is trying to use natural products and shows everyone that you can also indulge in a more healthy way :) Keep up the good work (and the good cakes)!
